Why there is left shift of ODC in carbon monoxide?
Because its the carbon monoxide that binds with hemoglobin with high affinity and when such carboxy haemoglobin reaches tissues there is decrease in oxygen release… This decrease in oxygen release indirectly means left shift of ODC
