why there is sudden fall in BP.It is not due to accidental subarachnoid injection?
Accidental subarachnoid (intrathecal) injection results in total spinal anaesthesia with symptoms like bradycardia, hypotension, and apnea that are rapid in onset. Furthermore, hypotension is defined as BP less than 90/60 mm of Hg. In accidental intravascular injection, the order of appearance of symptoms are circumoral numbness, nervousness and then respiratory arrest.
Thank you.
