Wouldn’t that be osteclast precursor being converted to matured osteoclast on action of rankl?

Derived from hematopoietic precursor cells, Osteoclasts are bone-resorbing cells that require macrophage-colony stimulating factor and receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand (RANKL) for their differentiation, survival, proliferation and activation. The binding of RANKL to the RANK receptor triggers osteoclast precursors to differentiate into osteoclasts.

Thank you.
