+230 score or pass/fail? and Why?
I really need to make that decision ASAP

230+ score is better than pass fail

thanks for answering

Why do u think that?

Same as cs exam

People with cs was preferred than people with oet

The idea pass means 194+ but score means as you said 230+

So you can tell now which one is better 230+ or 194+

that’s avg score. U don’t even have to ask in first place.

I think there is graph presentation which difrentiate btw applicants

nope theres nothing like that. just a p/f. it would defeat the purpose

Depends on when you are planning to apply for the match.

And honestly we don’t yet know.

Maybe at the P/F system they will make 230 the minimal passing score

there isn’t a passing “score”. There is a reason they never ever explained how the 3 digit score is calculated. I 99.9% am sure the score is arbitrary. In a cohort of students taking the test, the “mean” is a 230. The rest of the scores are calculated based on your standard deviation from the mean. “Passing” is going to be a certain standard deviation from the mean…

If you can get high score above average go for it otherwise I would suggest to wait… Coz with 3 digit score, you will be judged by the PDs, Nothing else… So if you just pass it and have low scores, you will be judged for worst… And in P/F you will be judged by CK score…
