Has anyone applied for extension of visit visa after staying 6 months in UK?
My mom is here in UK on visit visa. She applied&travelled from KSA back in February. She lives in ksa and cant go back as flights operations are closed in ksa. She is Pakistani passport holder but we don’t want to send her to Pakistan as all my family lives in KSA (my dad and only sister both live in KSA) and also becoz of covid situation in Pakistan we dont want her to go there.
UK visas were extended automatically only until 31 July. So we called CIH and they said that they dont have any further information currently. They also said that visit visa extension is not possible, she can only apply for long term stay (if eligible). Can anyone guide what should I do? Should I apply for visit visa extension (ukvcas biometrics are also not running becoz of covid which are needed for extension as per my understanding).
