I am an Indian citizen passed my mbbs from Ukraine June 2018. We don’t get to do any internship in ukraine and neither it is valid in my home country.
For doing internship and obtaining a license to practice we need to appear for a screening exam which is held only twice a month (Dec-June)
I appeared for the December’18 attempt but there had been a sad incident in my family and i wasn’t able to concentrate on studies and unfortunately didn’t qualify it. Then I appeared for June’19 atrempt and cleared it. After that we have to wait for the internship intake to begin which was November 19 and my internship will finish in November 20.
I have already prepared for Plab 1 and IELTS.
However I read many posts in the group regarding a gap being a problem for registration for GMC.
My concern is I would be having my internship completed thus about 2.5 years after graduation.
Will it be a hindrance for GMC registration? Should I think of plab in first place or some other thing.
Please guide me
