I get very confuse between leminiscus nd geniculate …LL, ML…LG nd MG…which is for ear nd all??
Medial geniculate body - m- music so ear
Lateral geniculate body - light - so eyes
In ear pathway there is one mnemonic called ECOLIMA if u remember this u will know that lateral lemniscus comes in ear pathway
Spinal lemniscus is in its name itself lateral spinothalamic tract
U should remeber only that medial lemniscus is for anterior spinothalamic tract and dorsal column
Nd also, Superior colliculus nd inferior colliculus
Just remember that 3rd nerve comes from superior collicullus.
So 4th will be from lnferior collicus
