I had ACL and meniscus surgery 6 months ago

I had ACL and meniscus surgery 6 months ago. My ACL was completely ruptured and was repaired with a hamstring allograft. The surgeon was able to repair my meniscus by placing two stitches. This led to me being non-weight bearing for 6 weeks post surgery. I was unable to gain my full extension back, and after 4 months only had about 85-90 degrees of flexion. I had a manipulation performed in the beginning of January. This increased my flexion to about 120 degrees with lots of stretching, and I still am struggling with my extension. My physical therapist says I have a lot of joint tightness, and my doctor is thinking I may have to have a second surgery. I don’t see my surgeon again for a couple weeks, but I was wondering if anyone else in this group has faced something similar? If so what was the course of action from here?
