I recently passed PLAB and GMC registered. I am about to start applying for jobs.
However, I have some queries. Hope you guys can help me.
If I get an offer for a non training job of 1year contract, can I apply for training post during this period, in the same hospital or other hospitals? If so, and if accepted for training mid-way during the contract, what would happen to the current contract? What are the implications?
Also, can we get into the training posts directly from abroad, without working in the NHS earlier?
And also, about the salary of a SHO, I have gone through many articles, but unable to understand yet, what would be an average take away salary, after tax deductions…?
