Hi everyone.
I wanted to share my opinion about the Casper test. It is assumed to be a useful tool to help programs have a more holistic review of applicants by assessing their behaviors and judgment skills, etc.
However, I feel that is just adding to our burden and stress by making us take one more exam (3 components)! Haven’t we had enough exams through med school and USMLE? Why do they feel the consistent need to microscopically examine applicants?
I feel if I satisfied all the other requirements of the program, I would deserve to have an interview to show everything I got. I don’t want to let one more exam to determine the very core of my personality. Meet me first, then judge my character…
