I’m 2 weeks post op from ACL quad graph & meniscus repair, Surgery was 11/30.
I’m walking around and using stairs with my brace and no crutches fine.
But my biggest struggle is full extension, flexing my quad, and the leg lift.
The video shows my how my quad will twitch flex, but I struggle to hold the flex and it hurts if I try to hold it.
My PT said to do the leg lift with my brace to help ensure my legs straight throughout and it does help but still struggling
I had the same exact surgery with quad graft and meniscus repair. Took me weeks to get a consistent leg lift. That quad muscle is shut off from surgery and a little hurt from the graft. Once I got into PT, the electrical stimulation really helped that quad fire
You can place the heel of the foot on a pillow, this will help you achieve the extent of the stretch, because the extension is what gives you the ability to walk properly and of course with strengthening muscles, good luck.
