I’m 5 weeks PO. I’ve been doing my heel slides for ROM and improving steadily, though not comfortably! My PT suggested sitting in my recliner out of the brace with my knee bent and dangling for about 15+ minutes a day. I cleared it with my ortho doctor first. This bend feels tense, but less pain and strain. I’ve gained nearly 20 degrees in a week. I wanted to share in case it helps anyone with ROM. But I do suggest talking to your PT and doctor before trying.

I’ve struggled with the heel slides as well. Started to also do the dangle thing more often once I was released to add weight. I also try to bend naturally when I’m laying down and just holding it for a bit. I think it’s helping more than the heel slides honestly!
