Passed MRCP1
Many of you were asking about study strategy.
First of all i am an average student, i did it with 2 jobs along with family responsibilities.
Total duration of study was 100 days. 4-5 hours per day. With almost no study on 1-2 days per week because of duties.
I did passmedicine twice. With rapid reptition in last 1 week as 3rd read.
Did mcqs of on examination only. But it took a lot of my time. And as per me were not of much help. Explanation is much more important, as questions r usually not repeated.
I would advice to give all time to pass medicine. Do it 4-5 times. Memorize each line of it. No need to study any other material, online source, or any notes. Take full grip of pass medicine .
I scored 33% and 44% in pharma n clinical sciences, least among all units. Though b4 exam k thought i was good at them . Did all passmedicine for it. But i don’t know wr i was lacking. Maybe i guess need help for these from some other material. Do focus on these 2 units plz.
Attempt exam carefully, read stems in detail, sometimes very mcqz r confusing .
This is what i have done. Others might hv differnt strategy. But this helped me a lot.
