Most of you already working in UK must have realised that it is mostly about your shining career on a piece of paper that takes you above your competitors.
You must have also seen how important it is to engage in some sort of Audit, QIP, Research or Publications.
It is usually hard to get involved with these things as you are new to NHS with no previous experience.
Recently a culture of “ Research Networks” or “ Collaborative Work” has risen in UK.
A group of colleagues or friends
Think of an idea,
Collect data from their respective workplaces and
Use a skill mix to make it more valuable.
This also gives you an opportunity to give fancy titles to your work as “ Multi Centre” “ Deanery Wide” Etc Etc.
I believe you have an excellent platform in the form of this group to find peers with similar interest, come up with ideas and use each other’s skills to help and support yourselves.
Someone will be good at thinking, others will be good at statistics while rest may be better in writing manuscripts.
