I started my prep for ck almost a year ago nd there were too many on and offs so i would suggest to never take a break more than a week as it shatters everything u have prepared previously…
I strted my prep directly frm online u world subject wise nd didnt study any kaplan or mtb book
I did online u world for almost 4 times
Didnt do any other q bank other than doing cms for all subjects in last week .cms helps u alot in improving ur speed of qus reading for actual exam i would strongly suggest to do it although most of its qus paterrn is outdated but it still helps anyhow ,would sugest doing it after uwsa as some of its qus r repeated in it
Actual Exam was tough .i think much tougher than wht we expect after doing u world , ans r v much confusing u dnt get any idea whr it from.
In mine case surgry and biostat were v difficult didnt knw wht to do with them bcs qus were out of no where , medicine is doable and so is pediatrics ,gynea was tough too.
Psychiatry was easy …
But main problem causing qus were frm preventive medicine .v v v confusing nd tough , nothing was like u world
And i had total 8 blocks with 2 blocks containing 38 qus each…fst 1 nd last 2 blocks were v difficult but remaining blocks were doable .
Exam was very exhasuting so better to have somthing during exam to keep u alert and active such as panadol extra as it helped me once i was drained during exam
In da end exam is tough but not imposible as i was a very avg student in my class nd i believe if i can do it than evry1 can defintly do it…
Just stick to u world , u world and u world and if u have complete grip on u world u can easly cross 260 or even higher
