My mother 53 was suggested for Cervical MRI for confirmation of any Malignancies. Some one please tell me what is the difference from normal MRI and Cervical MRI. What might be cost of Cervical MRI.

Please dont.a MRI is the initial.evaluation to asess pelvic organs for locoregional spread and local staging in a cervix malignancy.a PET CT will not help for that.after an MRI to rule out metastatic spread a whole body scanning can be done…kindly go ahead with MRI as the initial investigation.
