My step 3 experience:
Day 1: Was painfully long. Many step 1 type qns. Also had many ObGyn, Peds, Biostats and drug ad questions.
Day2: Blocks were better. Mostly diagnosis and investigation type questions. CCS was the best and easy part about day 2. All the cases ended in 6-7 mins.
Prep: I’m a PGY2 IM resident, so I didn’t have much time to prepare as I was between inpatient rotations. My only resource was Uworld. Finished 40% UW, reviewed all CCS cases and biostats review. Preparation time: 3-4 weeks. Started CCS only after day 1. Had 5 days between day 1 and day 2, so used this time to review CCS cases. Got my score report 1 week ago- passed!!!
