"Hey guys,

I love your website. It really made the journey for me easier. As of yesterday I managed to get a Clinical Fellow job at — Hospital in —. It has been a dream of mine for almost 10 years to get on the track of Emergency medicine specialist training. I did not get a training job, but at least one foot in the door and i will navigate my way from there.

I never did PLAB, which I believe I should have as my journey would have been so much simpler, but i did USMLE and GMC gave me no problems registering me (Step 1, 2CK and 2CS). The hospital gave me an interview through trac jobs which I believe will be the default site for all nhs jobs from next year. Interview lasted 20 minutes and when they saw I could answer the clinical questions they went on asking about whether I need a Visa and when I could join them. After all the stress of the USMLEs and not even one interview in the states through two seasons of the match (total applications about 200), I was ready to give up due to all the frustrations I was having with the system.

I am glad I looked to the UK. The culture seems so accommodating and being a minority I believe this will be a huge plus for my family and I.

Guys, never give up when trying to reach your goals. Dream it and believe in it and it will surely come. No matter how long it takes, never give up!!!"

🔰 Now why did we post this?

💭 We know everyone has been stressed with PLAB 1 dates, but don’t let that stop you from your dream.

✈️ Not every path to the UK is smooth, but it is worth the effort.

💪 It doesn’t matter how long it takes so long as you are dedicated to make it.

🙏 Remember that we all have struggled to get where we are today, and we should be thankful nonetheless.
