9 years old child was brought to hospital with complaints of multiple episodes of diarrhoea and vomiting for the last 24 hours.
On arrival child was unconscious & pulseless. People present there were like child is no more. But we didn’t loose our hope, we didn’t give up. Immediately our team started doing what we could. We tried so hard to open his vein since it was almost collapse. After 15 minutes of resuscitation child started moving his legs and we could feel the pulse. Ultimately child survived. what a relief it was!
This is just an example. We are doing this everyday for the last 24 days. Till date we have successfully treated more than 1200 cholera patients with zero death inside the hospital. Few people have lost their life before reaching to us.
People from governmental and non governmental sectors have been mobilised in different affected areas for creating awareness in people regarding their hygiene, food & drinking water.
