A Breast cancer patient goes through multiple highs and lows during her treatment but a strong will power goes a long way in helping these patients conquer this disease.
Sharing a story of another conqueror, who despite her multiple health issues (post renal transplant) conquered the disease. I fondly recollect two instances of her long journey with us:

She was quite tense and nervous at the time of diagnosis and our support group ladies helped her tide over that phase. After a few months, her husband came to the Opd and told me that he has seen a dramatic change in her and now she is the one counselling newly diagnosed cases

All throughout her treatment she told me that she wants to take part in a fashion show post her treatment and I was so happy when she walked the ramp recently (sharing the picture)
Such stories are not only a great source of inspiration for other patients but for doctors as well dealing with cancers on a daily basis.
