A Chinese company called Astribot, a branch of Stardust Intelligence in Shenzhen, is making big progress in robotics. They’re focused on creating AI-powered robot helpers. In a video they shared, their humanoid robot, the S1, is shown completing household chores faster than ever before, a major step forward for robotics.

The company says that the S1 robot can move at a top speed of 10 meters per second and carry up to 22 pounds (10 kilograms) with each arm. The video shows how fast the S1 robot moves, which is really impressive. It’s skilled enough to smoothly remove a tablecloth from under a stack of wine glasses without making them fall over.

Additionally, the robot demonstrates impressive speed and precision by smoothly completing tasks like opening and pouring wine, thinly slicing a cucumber, flipping a sandwich in a frying pan, and performing intricate calligraphy.
