A newly developed humanoid robot has the ability to forecast

A newly developed humanoid robot has the ability to forecast whether an individual will smile just before they do and imitate the smile on its own face.

Created by researchers, the Emo robot utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) models and advanced cameras to predict and replicate human facial expressions.

It can anticipate a smile approximately 0.9 seconds in advance and synchronize its own smile accordingly.

The Emo robot, crafted by Hod Lipson and his team at Columbia University, aims to enhance human-robot interactions by mimicking lifelike expressions.
