distended transverse colon with globet cell depletion on rectal biopsy. What is the most

Ans. 2. In UC there is goblet cell depletion and less mucous production in contrast with CD where there
may be goblet cell hyperplasia and mucous secretion is not reduced. Please note aphthous ulcer can
develop in both CD and UC.
