Ma’am after lateralization of vocal cords in bilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy will there be aphonia, because they could not abduct in midline now?
In unilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve there will be hoarseness and in bilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy there can be life-threatening aspiration and aphonia.
