What you are doing here is like storing water in a broken bottle…
Might seem harsh but let me tell you why…
Majority of TB patients and beneficiaries to whom this post is supposed to reach is : Lower socio economic status
Majority of that part is uneducated , even if educated they have only learnt their native language (lets take examples farmers, daily wage workers, labourers, industrial workers, auto drivers etc)
These people are at most risk,
Target these masses , English is a foreign language to them ,
So i feel and urge all junior doctors who will be tomorrows consultants should make it a practice from today itself that , you try ur level best to use respective native languages like…kannada, hindi, tamil, bangali, punjabi , bhojpuri… malayali, manipuri… whichever native you belong to… use that as an awareness medium…
What you are doing is commendable only if serves atleast 50% of the anticipated audience…
You see rich , english speaking, learned , well fed people hardly get TB , even if they get… they know languages other than english…
So lets take pride in creating awareness in the language you speak to your family, your neighbours and your patients…
