Besides India, what are some countries an Indian doctor can work without a specific exam like USMLE or PLAB?

See exams like USMLE and PLAB are licencing exams. To be eligible to practice medicine anywhere, you need to give licencing exams. Even India has an exam which doctors from other countries need to give. The catch is some countries waive off licencing exams for certain people. For example if you have done MD in USA then you dont need to give an exam in India and you can directly apply for MCI registration in India and so on. In Singapore for example if you have MD from say AIIMS or certain specific institutes then they waive for requirement for exam. Australia may waive off AMC exam in certain cases . But MOST nations except some third world countries would require you to give some exams or the other.

If you to migrate somewhere else then the best bet for you is USMLE. The situation is Australia and UK is become less friendly for foreign doctors. On the other hand the need for Doctors in India is much much high. So my recommendation is stick your mother land… your country needs you …

MRCP(UK).

If u do MRCP(UK) u don’t have to give licensing exam in more than 20 countries including UK,Ireland, European countries,Australia, UAE and Arab countries. So,you have option to choose where u getting more money or where academics is good.

Mrcp exam has three part.1st two part on mcq test and last part on clinical examination. Many countries have mcq as well as clinical exam centre. So,u can give entire exams in your locality without even going to uk once.

If you pass CCT exam following MRCP,u can work as super specialist in above countries.

P.S in arab countries you need 2/3 yr exp. to get a license. But,passing simple CCT exam (or DM/Mch) you can get superspeciality license without experiance.(They check exp after getting highest degree or qualification)

Check out more in exemption criteria of any licensing exam.

PPS: If you do MRCP AND CCT you salary will be higher than rest.

If you do not want to give any further exams, and start working, I’m presuming it will be at the level of a MBBS Junior Doctor and not specialist. If you want to work as a junior doctor outside India, without any exams, then please consider

Maldives - Pay is around $20,000/annum
Singapore - Excellent pay but need to be a graduate of the 44 Medical Colleges as approved by them. (For ex., AIIMS Delhi, LHMC Delhi, CMC Vellore)
Malaysia - A slightly bigger list, includes many Private Medical Colleges also. Pay is almost same as Maldives.
Nepal - Recognition of qualification is restricted to a very few government colleges.
Bhutan - Restricted jobs, mainly for their own citizens. Pay is low as compared to Indian standards. (INR 30,000- 40,000)

There many medical colleges in the world that offers Indian doctors to jobs in their country. But to be frank many top countries do not give a bigger post in their countries. Gulf nations, and other nations prefer more to those doctors who have studied from the USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, and Etc.

So I would recommend that if possible then prepare for USMLE and PLAB type exams, it will help you a lot to get a job in the long term and a good place. Indian doctors are not preferable because the Indian medical syllabus is less practical than the US and other developed countries.
