Features of this year NIMHANS exam:-
1.The duration of the ONLINE Entrance Test is 90 Minutes with 100 questions for all the papers (except MD in Psychiatry, DM in Neurology and M.Ch. in Neurosurgery courses under post MBBS category only).
2.The ONLINE Entrance Test pattern for candidates appearing for MD in Psychiatry, DM in Neurology and M.Ch. in Neurosurgery courses under post MBBS category would be as follows:
a. Common paper of 60 minutes with 70 questions 2:30 –
3:30 pm on 25.3.18.
b. Neurology paper of 30 minutes with 30 questions 3:30 –
4:00 pm on 25.3.18.
c. Neurosurgery paper of 30 minutes with 30 questions
4:30 – 5:00 pm on 25.3.18.
d. Psychiatry paper of 30 minutes with 30 questions. 5:30 –
6:00 pm on 25.3.18.
3.The candidates appearing for MD in Psychiatry, DM in Neurology and M.Ch. in Neurosurgery courses under post MBBS category should without fail appear for the Common paper failing which, they will not be considered for any subject under any circumstances.
4.Candidates appearing for Common paper of 60 minutes duration are requested to continue to stay in their seat till 4:00 pm till the final bell.
5.After this, candidates who have not applied for M.Ch. in Neurosurgery and MD in Psychiatry can leave the test centre.
6.Candidates appearing for M.Ch. in Neurosurgery should be seated in their respective seats latest by 4:20 pm as the test commences at 4:30 pm. Candidates who have not applied for MD in Psychiatry can leave the test centre.
7.Candidates appearing for MD in Psychiatry should be seated in their respective seats latest by 5:20 pm as the test commences at 5:30 pm.
8.Candidates appearing for more than one test cannot leave the test centre. Candidates who leave the test centre will not be readmitted into the test centre again at any cost and their candidature will be disqualified.
