First week I arrived in Canada, I attended a Healthforce Ontario meeting. They hooked me up with 2 study buddies and I started this group so we 3 can share study material for QE1. This group has grown to include almost 9000 people interested in being doctors in Canada. I must say, it has been a very rocky ride and everyone seeking a medical career while living in Canada, will tell you it’s a roller coaster of emotions and uncertainty is the norm. Maybe that is why everyone is reluctant to share info. You don’t want to misguide anyone when you have not succeeded yourself in reaching your goal. I have matched to family medicine this year and promised myself I would share my experience with you once it happens.
