Heparan sulfate
Heparan sulfate (HS) is a linear polysaccharides found in all animal tissues. It occurs as a Proteoglycans (PG) in which two or three HS chains are attached to cell surface or ECM proteins.
It regulates a wide variety of biological activities, including Developmental process, angiogenesis, blood coagulation, and tumor metastasis.
