How many surgery do general surgeon perform without SS /fellowship? People saying its just only 4-5 surgery ? Is it true..list the surgery that we are able to perform as general surgeon

Once you have a PG degree

There on its your skill. , tactics , patient handling and management.

I wont say sky is the limit. Ms surgeon cannot perfrom a CABG or neuro Sx or many like that

But there are many areas he/ she can explore

And wait just 4-5 surgeries? 4-5 surgeries on your OT day ( i guess 2-3 ot days a week). So around 10-15 surgeries a week.

Around 50-60 / month.

Around 600-700 / ye

Aint that enough!!??
