I had a meniscus bucket handle tear. It was repaired like 5 years ago.

But lately, i have had pain especially after some physical activities (not severe pain, but slightly annoying pain). At times i feel the pain after a long walk.

This is my first surgery, i am not sure if this sort of pain is normal and i should just live with it OR i should opt for another surgery.

My dilemma is, I do not want to go for another surgery if the pain will persist or the pain becomes worst.

Any of you can advise if there are any other alternatives to surgery?

(If i got to a specialist for diagnosis, i feel the doctor will encourage another surgery)
