I hope my post gets approved. I wish all the best luck to all the IMGs trying to get into the Canadian system. I would like to share my experience so that may be it can help others. Talking about getting a match only few get it that also not on only the SCORES but many other factors on your CV. Some countries are preferred for matches. Avoid spending too much on courses offered for preparation out of frustration, choose one wisely if you really had to. The residency system are no doubt more better in Uk, USA, Australia.
The other way out is Nac PRA option. Which is not a residency but a much clear way to enter Canadian system and work as a GP in Canada. Many of our very qualified IMGs are working here through this path.
This post is not to discourage anyone as I am sure many of you are very talented and will get your goals one day but I am writing it to make the picture more clear.
