I saw a post in this group comparing MBBS, MD/ MS seats of OBC, ST ,SC categories with those of private medical colleges. I am a UR candidate and I can say with absolute confidence that there can be no comparison. Those affording Private College seats can afford good schools, good coaching . They are given everything required to Crack the exam and they couldn’t. Now consider the plight of reservation people. OBC are debarred from reservation if fall under creamy layer. Others have to face discrimination throughout their careers irrespective of how meritorious they are. Private colleges manage to lower cut off to zero percentile ( not percentage) and a candidate who has scored negative marks( say -50, -40) can take radiology seat if they have enough money.
