Synthesized protein from mitochondria is folded initially at endoplasmic reticulum from where it is transported to Cis end of Golgi apparatus. After processing, packing and sorting of the protein, they are released in vesicles from the trans end towards the cell membrane. From the cell membrane they are secreted by exocytosis.
