Is the bond strict in Tamil Nadu? Will everyone who takes a clinical seat in government medical college in tamilnadu have to serve the bond ?
Yes. Previously it was not as strict as it is now. But it is very strict now. Even if no places in GH or Medical College, they ruthlessly post Specialist PGs in PHC… Above all, they even depute Such Specialists to irrelevant trainings such as Poison Management for an Orthopedician and IUCD Training for a Paediatrician… a freind of mine soon after finishing PG joined in a Private Medical College for a Salary of 1.3 Lakhs per month. Just worked for one month only. Then got pulled by bond and now working in a PHC for a consolidated pay of 60k per month….
