Just over 3 months post op (arthroscopic debridement surgery)

Just over 3 months post op (arthroscopic debridement surgery) had an appointment with my surgeon yesterday I’m still swollen and getting pain and stiffness in my knee I’ve had steroid shots and still on celecoxib tablets everyday and going to physio every week doing all my exercises. I’m 22 yrs old and he said I’m very slow healing for someone that age however I could also have inflammatory arthritis but he just wants to wait a bit and see how I go

Anybody else have this happen? What was the treatment plan and your outcome?

sorry to hear about your situation. If 1 was easy and 10 was really difficult, how would you rate the difficulty of your exercises. Sometimes if the exercises are too easy , recovery can plateau.

You might want make and appointment with a Rheumatologist for the arthritis, it might be autoimmune. I’ve got 3 autoimmune diseases. Just for price of mind. It can be very painful. Good luck, I hope you gent answers.
