MBBS Degree holders willing to pursue Post Graduation medical programmes in the country will have to appear for NEET PG conducted by National Board of Examination. The exam is a gateway for medical students to seek admission into the MD/MS courses offered at medical colleges in India. Candidates begin with the exam preparation an year before the date of written examination. Since NEET PG 2019 is likely to be held in January, this is the right time to go through the exam syllabus and subject matter.

NEET PG syllabus comprises subjects as prescribed under the Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) issued by the Medical Council of India. GMER specifies what a medical student is taught in MBBS. It is published by the MCI for the purpose of informing the aspirants about the subjects and topics contained within NEET PG syllabus. MCI has been maintaining the syllabus fof the exam since when the exam was introduced and replaced AIPMT.

The 3 and a half hour long exam is con ducted online and comprise of 300 multiple choice questions. The questions are from topics as mentioned in the above table comprising NEET PG 2019 syllabus. NBE will begin with NEET PG 2019 application process from October. Candidates will be able to fill the online application forms on the official website till December.
