OBSERVERSHIP IN PSYCHIATRY AT MCMASTER UNIVERSITY, CANADA*

Duration: 4 weeks.

Specialty: child and adolescent psychiatry (perfect for those planning to apply for psychiatry, paediatrics, family medicine or neurology residency training).

Location: McMaster University teaching hospital in St. Catharines, ON, Canada.

Preceptor: a faculty member at the department of psychiatry and behavioural neurosciences, McMaster University.

Application and tuition fees: NONE. You will be responsible for your visa (if required), travel, accommodation, insurances and other expenses.

Minimim eligibility requirements:

International medical students (US or Canadian medical students are not eligible) in their final year during requested time frame.

OR

International Medical Graduates (IMG) (US or Canadian medical graduates are not eligible).

AND (within last 2 years)

IELTS Academic band 7 in all 4 components or TOEFL iBT with minimum score for speaking - 25, writing - 28, reading - 26, listening - 26.

AND

One of the following exams: MCCQE Part 1 or Part 2, NAC, USMLE Steps 1, 2CK, 2CS or 3.
