Option to exercise upgradation of seats after round 2 of all india counselling and 3 rounds of DNB counselling to be continued as like in past years
Respected sir/madam,
Many of us don’t have the option of getting seat of our desired branch through state counsellings and hence we solely depend on the all India counselling only for allotment of seat.It will be unfair if we are not given the opportunity to exercise the option of upgrading of the seats after round 2 without risking our alloted all India round 2 seat.
So, Kindly allow people who are alloted seats in all india round 2 to exercise the option to upgrade their seat in round 3 of counselling also.Last year, 3373 seats were reverted back to states combined and these seats will be available in all india round 3 this year. It is a very significant number considering the fact that seats for UR are already very limited. We should be atleast given a chance to exercise our options fairly.
Also considering that DNB seats are getting reverted to round 3 this year, left seats go to the mopup pool instead of the past years rule of 3 rounds for DNB counselling as well.
Please reconsider as this will ensure round 3 allotment to be merit based rather than luck based.
