PGIMER 2018 Result – PGIMER OHS Jan 2018 result has been announced on December 11, 2017. The result is available online at the official website of PGIMER in pdf format. The result has been published merit wise for House Job (OHS). The selected candidates have to report at the counseling venue as per the schedule and submit the relevant documents. The result of PGIMER 2018 entrance exams form the basis for admission to programs offered by Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. Dates on which results are being announced are already notified and can be seen here below. On the scheduled date, candidates can check this page or official website to know result/merit list. Qualified candidates can attend further rounds. There will be clinical/practical exam also for some courses followed by counseling. For other courses, there is direct counseling.
PGIMER OHS Jan 2018 Result
PGI Chandigarh appoints the candidates selected for House Job (Oral Health Sciences) for a period of 6 months.
Candidates are eligible for House Job within 3 years of obtaining BDS degree.
A common merit list is prepared for MDS course and House Jobs.
After the declaration of result, the selected candidates need to submit print out of online application form along with the copy of fee slip (challan/online), four photograph and photocopies of the document such as Matriculation Certificate, BDS Degree/ Provisonal pass certificate, All years detailed marksheet, internship completion certificate, Registration Certificate, Character Certificate, College Recognition Certificate, Case Certificate (if applicable), etc. on 11.12.2017 by 5.00 P.M. in the office of The Training Branch, Kairon Block, Room No. 305, PGIMER, Chandigarh. PGIMER MD / MS Jan 2018 result
PGIMER MD/MS entrance exam consists of 250 multiple choice questions. There can be more than one correct response for a question. Also, there is negative marking. Therefore total marks in exam is on basis of correct responses getting positive marks, incorrect responses getting negative marks, and no marks for unmarked responses.
Thereafter marks of entrance exams gets converted to percentile. Percentile= [(B+(0.5×E))/N]×100. B = number of scores below the candidate’s score, E = number of scores equal to the candidate’s score (1 if there is no tie, and >1 if there is a tie), and N = number of candidates appearing for exam.

PGIMER PhD Jan 2018 result
PGI Chandigarh will hold the entrance exam for PhD admission in January 2018 session, on December 03, 2017, from 10 am.
The result will be announced on December 04, 2017, at 9 am.
Those who qualify can attend the clinical/practical exam which is on December 05, 2017, at 10 am.
After that, there will be counselling/interview on December 06, 2017, at 11 am.
Candidates must, however, confirm the date, time, instructions for the practical exam, interview, counselling from PGI Chandigarh.
PGIMER MSc / MSc MLT Jan 2018 result
PGI Chandigarh is conducting MSc entrance exam for admission to Master of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology course conducted for January session only.
PGI Chandigarh is conducting MSc MLT entrance exam for admission to M.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology couse conducted for January session only.
Inter-Se Merit for M.Sc Admission
If two or more candidates get same marks in entrance exam, then inter-se merit is used for selection of one candidate to the course.
Lower ranking would be given to the candidate who has made more attempts in passing B.Sc exam, as compared to the one who has made fewer attempts.
If the above criteria leads to a draw, then the candidate who has higher marks in B.Sc gets a better rank than the one with lesser marks.
If both the above points still result in a tie then the candidate who is older gets a higher rank.
Inter-Se Merit for M.Sc MLT Admission

Entrance exam for PGIMER DM / MCh / MHA Jan 2018 admissions is on December 17, 2017 from 10 am.
Result will be announced on December 18, 2017 at 9 am.
Then there is a clinical / practical exam on December 19, 2017 at 10 am.
This is followed by counselling / interview on December 20, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
Candidates are requested to confirm date, time, venue, instructions for clinical exam, interview, counselling after declaration of result.
