I call it as a branch of introverts… It is such a decent and all rounder branch…if one likes both surgery and medicine then u r made for anesthesia…during residency one gets posted in various departments… There r shifts so not much hectic… Besides ot… They manage ICU…
Lots of scope : join in hospital, can do free lancing, can work as intensivist, can do ss in critical care, cardiac anesthesia etc…
Life of so called behoshi K doctor is so amazing and full of thrill… No risk of beating, no khit khit with relatives, can make surgeon sweat by cancelling case…
If u r between 10k to 25k… Like both surgery and medicine, want chill life… Don’t have any specific affinity for any particular branch then blindly take anesthesia… Nobody regrets taking it… I bet… Go to any resident and ask… Nobody regrets taking anesthesia
