Sub : Regarding postponement of NEET PG
Respect Sir,
It has recently been posted on the website of national board of examinations that the NEET PG 2021 has been delayed till further notice.
There’s also a notice circulating on social media stating a request to delay NEET PG 2021 till March April.
We hereby request you not to, stating the following reasons :
- There are many working doctors who have taken leave or left their respective posts in order to study for the NEET exam.
If the exam delay is longer, this would mean a longer absence of the same doctors and a reduction in the task force of health personnel.
Instead, if the exam is conducted at the earliest, the respective doctors can go back to their posts, and there are many who join after the exams in the meantime till the results are announced and counseling is completed. - Today’s shortage of doctors demands the exams such as NEET PG to be conducted at the earliest so that a new batch of doctors is available in the hospitals and medical colleges.
Hence, we request that NEET PG be conducted as soon as possible along with early beginning of the next session, by May 2021 or even April 2021.
As for those who are undergoing internship, a special provision for them to allow them to join late (a month or maybe a few days), provided that they have written document from their respective colleges that they were undergoing their internships when they were supposed to join.
