Scope for MD Biochemistry from government college?
Medical college faculty, DM in endocrinology also now i think in clinical hematology too… Close work with pathologist… Research is a key area which has scope though mostky outside our country… Currently best branch for me among non clinics

it is year 2000 notification…but the MCI has been done an amendment in year 2013…
not eligible for dm hemat. but u can go in research field plus medical clg job.
Academics.
Now a days n in coming days biochemistry lab reports must to be signed by MD biochemistry only.
Presently who r engaged in academics also work in multiple pvt labs n usual working time is 3 hrs for 3 days a week.
In European countries (mainly Germany), maximum chances are there for research n fellowships in molecular biology n in regenerative medicine with easy entries.
Check for super specialty eligibility for MD biochemistry. It’s there definitely.
DM medical genetics can be done by any specialty including MD biochemistry.
DM clinical haematology, DM clinical immunology - confirm on website without relying speculation of others. I think it’s there.
DM clinical endocrinology was previously there but since some past years has been removed for MD biochemistry. Also confirm it.
The average payment scale of salary for fresher MD biochemistry lecturer is around 70-75k initially. Parallel can attend labs – payment scale is around 25-30 k per month for working 2 hrs for 4 days a week. Can work in Multiple labs.
As per news in 2014, Sanjay Gandhi institute, Lucknow runs 1 year PDCC/fellowship course on medical genetics for MD biochemistry. Search for fellowships in other institutes also for post doctoral fellowships.
Very high payment scales for teaching n research as well in central America with Indians presently working the same in biochemistry.
N MD as a national board qualification recognized globally, you have a chance to do a research in USA searching n arranging interview (e.g. Skype) with biochemistry professors, n also utilizing your contacts if there showing your background of interest. Research in US University or even under Pvt recognition may be paid or free , or may give you a payment/scholarships as well. You can search research programs in USA the same way USMLE Aspirants search for clerkships n observership in US, but it may be easier to contact senior biochemistry faculties teaching MSc programs there compared to USMLE people searching for US clinical experience.
Have a talk with fresher MD biochemistry or relatively younger associate professor to have a contemporary knowledge.

Biochemistry is of great importance…firstly after working in hospital for three to four years you can open your own laboratory…nowadays in practical field there is no difference seen in Pathology…Microbiology…and Biochemistry…
You can also be in panel to different labs since you have signing authority…
So no subject you can say has no scope…each and every nineteen subjects has scope…and finally it depends upon…what’s the interest on particular subject…
