Despite their almost nonexistent risk of severe illness, death and disability, we locked our children away, told them they were at risk of death at every turn and created anxiety, depression and panic in our youth.
Is it any wonder they reached for “comfort” high calorie density foods, stopped being as active and as a result BMI has significantly increased. ( see next article)
Keep in mind pediatric obesity has already tripled in the last few years and obesity is the greatest risk factor outside of age for severe Covid.
This is a tragedy beyond words.
Shame on those who have spread a false narrative of fear for youth which in turn has led to even greater “ true” risk for the next generation.
Hide away or vaccinate the old and sick but not the youth
