Prep time: 10 months including numerous interruptions as jointly looking after my 6 year old with my husband who’s one step ahead.
Resources:
- UW: First round system wise (88%). I did write my notes along with UW notes. It took time but I like to write down my own notes to consolidate my memory. After completing the first round I revised my notes while doing CMS(only the new ones)
I then started my second round online random (96%) and then did only the wrong questions.
- Uptodate along with UW - that was very helpful
3- Anything that I couldn’t understand from UW or realised that something is missing, I would check Amboss library.
4-UW 3 Obgyn, Kaplan sakala videos
5- For biostat I did step 1 ,UW review and uw3
6-Ethics:step 1 and 100 cases
After finishing the second round, I started doing assessments 1 month before my test.

I revised FA step 1 (Pharm, and micro,immune disease,biochem dis)
During the last week before my test, I was revising notes, group crashes. I did not study on the last day.
The exam was doable and I took a break after each block. I also used a tape for my mask to avoid foggy glasses.
