Took ms gen surgery in top college in Delhi…but it’s getting very difficult to cope up with workload …both physically and mentally exhausted…everyday seems to be a nightmare…getting less than 3hrs sleep post emeg…anyone plz help how to cope up and finish 1 St yr residency…
I m 2nd year GS resident… This is part of our branch… Have to brush ourselves throughout our life. So dont worry, everyone goes through this, eventually u ll get used to this
First year in Surgery is brutal. Take breaks from work when possible. Get sleep whenever u can. Take shifts to sleep amongst copgs while doing emergency duty. If workload is too much,and u feel burnt out… either take a dayor two leave or else talk to hod.
