A 20 year old man, whose father died of a cardiac arrest at 32, is admitted to A and E following a collapse whilst playing football and taking some minutes to recover. A similar episode had occurred previously whilst playing squash. There is nil of note on examination and blood results are normal however you note he has a QT interval of 0.52secs on his ECG. He is also found to have paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation on further investigation with a 24 hour tape. What is the drug of choice for rhythm control in this patient?
