Which is better… MD in India or MD in UK?
Both has its pros and cons.
Exams difficulty level:In UK, there are multiple exams (stepwise) to enter into training. In India, single exam only (NEET). I find the stepwise approach easier.
Duration of training: longer in UK, shorter in India
Quality of training: better in UK.
Recognition: MRCP is highly recognized in India
(You dont have to take any screening exam after coming back to India)
Pay: Pay is better in UK throughout your training as compared to India.
Consider UK if you want to settle there. However, coming back to India after training is also not a bad option.
I was thinking about PLAB too, and then mrcp. I know some blogs about it.
MD itself is a worse choice
