While performing ZN stain If we use 5% sulphuric acid as the decolurising agent , then Both the Acid Fast Bacteria and Partially acid fast bacteria (except nocardia) will appear Pink .
Then how to differentiate btwn Acid fast and partially acid fast bacterias ??

Use a higher concentration of sulfuric acid as the decoloriser
Partially acid fast will take up counterstain after getting decolorized
