Why parenteral 2a inhibitors use as drug of choice in Heparin induced thrombocytopenia?
Because in HIT there is low platelet count so shouldn’t we use thrombopoetic agent?

Thrombocytopenia in HIT is a result of consumption of platelets in paradoxical thrombosis induced by heparin in some patients.
So anticiagulants are given for thrombosis.
